Beaver Ecology and Management

Jenna Krugler is a Ph.D. student at Clemson University, studying beaver ecology and management in the southeastern United States. Her current research focuses on non-lethal beaver management in South Carolina through the use of beaver flow devices for culvert protection and flood mitigation.

Prior to graduate school, Jenna worked as a field technician on projects conserving bighorn sheep in Montana, California condors in the southwest, and native fish in the Grand Canyon. She earned a B.S. in environmental science at UC Berkeley studying changes in songbird bill morphology.
